Know Your Seafood
Change the System

Pacific Cloud Seafoods builds the knowledge, tools, and policy infrastructure that consumers, producers, and distributors need to transform how seafood moves from ocean to plate.

Who We Serve

Three Audiences, One Mission

Whether you buy seafood, catch it, or move it — the same gaps in education, tooling, and policy affect your work. We build resources for each role in the chain.

Systems

It’s All Connected

Seafood doesn’t exist in isolation. Every fish that reaches a plate passes through an ecosystem of harvesters, processors, regulators, distributors, and communities — each link in the chain affecting the next.

Understanding these connections is how consumers buy better, producers run smarter operations, and distributors build trust with their buyers.

From Alaska

Where This
Story Begins

Ryan Horwath came to Alaska to fish. What he found was a system far more complex than any market, label, or supply chain document could capture — and a gap between what the industry knew and what the people in it could access.

Pacific Cloud Seafoods is the attempt to close that gap. Not through marketing, but through education, tools, and honest infrastructure for every role in the seafood supply chain.

The fish came back when we started listening to the river again. The science caught up to what the elders already knew.
