Sitka Salmon Shares is one of the country's leading community-supported fishery (CSF) programs. Based in Sitka, Alaska, the company built the modern playbook for getting wild Southeast Alaska seafood directly to households across the Midwest and Northeast.

The fleet behind SSS is fishermen-owned. Captains hold equity in the company they sell to. That single structural choice — fishermen as shareholders — was the model Pacific Cloud's founder Ryan Horwath spent years working with before starting Pacific Cloud Seafoods.
